By using ProjectCalc Australia you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. They are intentionally written in plain language.

What this site is

ProjectCalc Australia offers free online calculators and guides for home improvement, DIY and landscaping projects. All results are estimates for general planning purposes — see the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use

  • Don't attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
  • Don't scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other users, or republish its content as your own.
  • Don't submit spam, unlawful or abusive content through forms or accounts.
  • Automated use of the calculators (bots, bulk requests) isn't permitted without written permission.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse. Saved projects and calculations are private to your account; you can delete them at any time.

Intellectual property

The ProjectCalc Australia name, site content and design are protected by copyright. You're welcome to use the calculators freely, including for work or business quoting, and to print or share results for your own projects. Republishing substantial parts of the site's content without permission isn't allowed.

Nothing on this site constitutes professional, engineering, construction, financial or legal advice. For anything structural, regulated or safety-critical, consult a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
