Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This page explains how ProjectCalc Australia uses cookies and similar technologies — now, and what would change if analytics or advertising are added later.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They're used for things like keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, or measuring how a site is used.
Cookies we currently use
That's the complete list. The calculators themselves set no cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts run on the site today.
- Sign-in session cookie (pc_session): set only when you sign in to an optional account, so the site remembers you're logged in. It is essential, http-only and expires after 30 days. Without an account, this cookie is never set.
Analytics (future)
If we add analytics (for example Google Analytics or a privacy-focused alternative), this page will be updated to list the specific cookies, their purpose and their lifetime before they go live. Where consent is required under Australian law or the ad networks' own policies, we will ask for it first.
Advertising cookies (future)
We plan to use display advertising to keep the site free. Advertising partners may set cookies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to personalise ads. Before any advertising script loads, this policy will list what to expect, and consent will be handled as required. Non-personalised serving options will be respected where offered.
Managing cookies
All modern browsers let you review, block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie simply means you stay signed out; every calculator will keep working normally.
